Are you a real book store?
Yes we are. We are located just North of downtown Seattle in the Fremont District. Seattle Book Center has been in business for over 30 years.
Can I contact you in person?
Certainly. You can reach us, toll free, at 1-866-547-7870, 10am to 5pm (Pacific), Tuesday through Saturday. We would be more than happy to assist you in person.
What is your return policy?
If, for any reason, you are unhappy with a book that you have purchased from us, let us know. Once the book has been returned to us we will issue you a full refund.
How long will it take for my book to be delivered?
It depends on the method of shipping that you select. We ship immediately upon receipt of payment. Within the U. S., media mail delivery ($3.50) typically takes anywhere from 7 to 14 days. Priority mail ($6.00) is usually received within 3 to 4 day. Overseas shipping rates vary and you should contact us for an exact quote. Overseas air mail delivery is usually received within 7 to 10 days. Delivery times can vary depending on the country that the book is being sent to.
Do I have shipping options other than U.S. Postal?
Should you desire, we can ship to you using United Parcel Service or Federal Express.
What method of shipping do you suggest?
In most cases, media mail is sufficient. Whenever purchasing books of any value we always advise using priority mail.
Do you do book searches?
Book dealers today rely on the Internet, using web sites such as Advanced Book Exchange (abebooks.com), Alibris (alibris.com), and Bookfinder.com. It is often much easier for the customer to access these sites themselves when searching for books. Should you have difficulties locating a book let us know. We would be happy to assist you.
Is this web site secure?
Yes. We use 128-bit SSL encryption to protect your credit card information. Once your order has been processed we delete all credit card information from our system.
